Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Annual Safety, Health, and Industrial Hygiene Services

CERM has teamed with a national consulting firm to provide Standby Safety, Health, and Industrial Hygiene Services to the Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) in connection with the transit organization’s operational and expansion activities.  The work is performed at several MARTA Stations around metro Atlanta.

Project Description

Projects for this contract period include:

  • Hamilton Bus Maintenance Facility Abatement

  • Dunwoody Station Mold Abatement

  • Arts Center Station and Avondale Asbestos Abatement Services

  • MARTA Five Points Rail Station

In addition, CERM has provided the MARTA Headquarters Annex Building with more than 30,000 sq. ft. of remediation, including: the demolition/removal of approximately 15,000 square feet of carpet; the removal of ACM flooring materials, Leveling Compound (non-ACM) and ACM mastic, joint compound and associated gypsum board, and floor tiles.
