Our Expertise
Site Design
CERM provides civil engineering services as part of the groundwork for project site development. From initial data acquisition through final design integrated into AutoCAD Civil 3D services, our registered professional engineers work in collaboration with our clients to understand their unique concerns, requirements and project expectations. CERM’s specific site design service offerings include: Site Planning, Analysis and Design, Street and Roadway Design, Drainage Evaluation and Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design, Stormwater Management, Site Grading and Earthwork, Erosion Control, and NPDES Permitting.
Geotechnical Engineering
CERM’s registered professional engineers bring a specialized client-centered approach in optimizing earth materials to support various building structures, embankments, and pavements by performing a variety of tests to characterize the soil and rock properties for use in and analyzing scenarios specific to the project site. We have the technical competence to successfully deliver engineering evaluations on simple and complex project sites. We provide confidence that foundation structures will support loads.
Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspections
CERM recognizes that construction materials testing (CMT) and special inspection services are critical in providing our clients confidence that new building construction and renovations satisfy project specifications. Our team of engineers and technicians are experienced at identifying and documenting deficiencies for corrective action during construction.
Bridge Inspections
Recognizing the long-term impact of increasing traffic on our nation’s bridges, CERM’s National Highway Institute (NHI) certified team of professional engineers and specialists are equipped to perform specialized condition assessments, in accordance with National Bridge Inspections Standards (NBIS), of in-service bridges. We offer preventive solutions for our transportation clients representing state, local and federal government agencies.
